Frequently Asked Questions About AAAHC Accreditation

- Do you accept credit cards? The AAAHC accepts all forms of payments for the surveys.
- Can I request a specific specialty surveyor (dermatologist, dentist, or cosmetic surgeon) to perform the survey? If you want this to happen, you need to file for this request well in advance. 2 – 3 months prior to the actual survey date, you should have filed for this motion to your local AAAHC surveyor.
- When do we pay the survey fee? For Medicare surveys, it must be paid no later than 20 days after receipt of the invoice. For non-Medicare surveys, it must be paid no later than 20 days prior to the survey date.
- Can I contact the surveyor about the upcoming survey? Your scheduled surveyor will give you a call a week or two prior to the survey to answer any questions that you have.
